Kiana and Jo’s wedding day at The Kahala Resort earlier this year was a beautiful celebration filled with love, culture, and unforgettable moments—made even more meaningful by a touch of rain!
There’s something truly magical about a Hawaiʻi wedding, especially when it’s filled with vibrant tropical blooms, heartfelt moments, and the unmistakable joy of two people celebrating the beginning of forever!
From the moment the day began, excitement filled the air as everyone prepared for the celebration ahead.
Kiana was absolutely radiant in her timeless strapless wedding gown, effortlessly elegant as she prepared to walk down the aisle. She was surrounded by her bridesmaids, who each wore coral dresses in different styles, allowing their personalities to shine while creating a beautifully coordinated bridal party!
Jo looked handsome in a classic navy blue suit, complemented by a tropical floral boutonniere that tied perfectly into the wedding's vibrant color palette! His groomsmen stood by his side in timeless black suits with matching tropical boutonnieres, creating a polished look that balanced classic elegance with island flair!
One of the standout details of the day was the breathtaking floral design!
The arrangements featured a stunning blend of rich reds, vibrant oranges, sunny yellows, deep purples, and lush greenery, creating a tropical atmosphere that perfectly complemented the beauty of The Kahala Resort. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and floral accent brought warmth and energy to the celebration while embracing the natural beauty of Hawaiʻi!

Although a light rain shower passed through during the ceremony, it only added to the beauty of the moment. In Hawaiʻi, rain on your wedding day is often considered a blessing—a symbol of cleansing, renewal, and good fortune for the journey ahead. The gentle showers created a peaceful atmosphere and served as a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments come from embracing whatever the day brings!
Through every smile, every glance, and every promise exchanged, it was easy to see just how deeply Kiana and Jo love one another!
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the ballroom, where the celebration continued with an evening full of joy and unforgettable moments.
The newlyweds wowed everyone with a beautifully choreographed first dance, showcasing not only their preparation but also the fun they have together as a couple. It was the perfect way to begin an evening dedicated to celebrating their new chapter.
