Aloha! Thank you for taking the time to celebrate such a special day in our lives! We can’t wait to see you and would like to provide you with some important information. Due to the COVID 19 virus, the State of Hawaii has mandated that the Kahala Hotel & Resort follow the requirements below.

Masks are required at all times when indoors (unless seated & actively eating or drinking)

Temperatures must be taken upon arrival/entry. A reading over 100.4 will not be allowed to attend.

Everyone must show proof of being either fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test

(within 48 hours of the start time)

Your health and safety are our top priority and we are hoping to make this process as easy for you as possible. Please provide us with your vaccination data to help speed up the check-in process on our wedding day. To simplify things (if you have been vaccinated).

Best practices/Additional helpful information:

• Please plan to come early to the ceremony so you can check in and go through State of Hawaii Covid mandated requirements.

• Please wear a mask upon arrival covering nose and mouth.

• Sanitize hands upon entry. Sanitation areas will be provided throughout the duration of your event.

• Practice social distancing at a distance of six feet or greater when possible.

• Please bring a picture ID with you.

• If you didn’t submit it before hand, please be prepared to show proof of full vaccination (1 Johnson & Johnson or 2 Pfizer or 2 Moderna) more than 14 days before the wedding day (original, photocopy, or photo of vaccination card will be accepted) + valid ID OR proof of a negative test result less than 48 hours old (including children & infants over 5 years old) + valid ID.

  • NOTE: The following information MUST be visible on vaccination card: Full name, location of vaccination site, name of vaccine received, date of each shot received.
